Excited to share that BT Sourced, the standalone sourcing arm of BT Group, is launching a groundbreaking procurement technology start-up competition focused on AI innovation!
Since launching in 2021, this Dublin-based procurement powerhouse has been rewriting the rules of supply chain management with smart technology. Now they’re inviting AI startups worldwide to showcase tools that make procurement faster, more efficient, and aligned with sustainability goals.
Scheduled for May 2025, this competition targets early-stage companies using AI to enhance procurement through automation, improved supply chain efficiency, and deeper data insights.
This initiative builds on BT Sourced’s existing tech partnerships through their Procurement Garage, including Candex (an automated payment platform) and Globality’s Glo (an AI-powered spending management system). In 2023-2024, around £8bn (US$10.5bn) in procurement spend was processed through Globality’s platform.
As Founder and CEO Cyril Pourrat puts it: “Join us in shaping the future of procurement, where AI drives efficiency and innovation paves the way. Let’s revolutionize the industry together.”
BT Sourced is also leveraging procurement to support BT Group’s environmental targets, working toward a 42% reduction in emissions by 2030/31.
