Meet the speakers

Marc Heisterkamp is the incoming CEO of the Sustainable Purchasing Leadership Council, a role that aligns with his 20+ year career of social impact and leveraging economic power for environmental and social gain.

A strategist and growth leader at heart, Marc is always mission driven, choosing to focus his career and boundless energy on maximum social impact opportunities. He is honored to have spent his career in leadership roles in high growth and transformative environments, including the U.S. Green Building Council and Northwest Outward Bound School.

In his career, Marc has restructured teams for growth, led alignment of business drivers and sustainability across industries, and scrubbed toilets and pulled weeds alongside staff members. He has been called an incrementalist visionary, meaning that he sees the strategy of the future but can also see (and execute on) the steps to making that future a reality.

Marc has a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology & Natural Resources and a Master’s in Business Administration. He is a proud Pacific Northwest native and resides in Portland, OR where he enjoys the great outdoors and creating amazing adventures for his son.

Augustina Kydonieus pledged as Ambassador with the Sustainable Procurement Pledge (SPP) in 2022 and currently serves as Co-Chair for the USA Chapter. For 20+ years she has served in strategic leadership roles as a procurement business partner on both supply and demand sides across diverse industries including Financial Services, Commercial Real Estate, Integrated Facilities Management, and Technology. Augustina is a member of Procurement Foundry, and an active Member of the Chartered Institute for Procurement and Supply (MCIPS). She lives in San Francisco, California.
